WashU Dance Collective: Touchstones

The present is a touchstone for grounding us in our humanity, revealing the core values of who we are, where we’ve been, and who we are to become. When we create in the present we are drawing upon the experiences that brought us to this point in our lives. When we create from the perspective of human interest, we unveil a future that elevates all humanity. Through a blend of contemporary, experimental, and theatrical dance, Touchstones explores what grounds us, what sticks with us, and what keeps us connected.

The WashU Dance Collective is the PAD’s resident dance company, featuring a unique blend of talented, expressive, and diverse movers with a wide range of movement styles and performance acumen. The dancers work with faculty, community, graduate, and undergraduate student choreographers, as well as perform throughout the St. Louis community.
